西南巴布亚省为印度尼西亚第38个省，于2022年设立，由巴布亚省西南地区析出，省会为索龙市，是巴布亚地区第六个省。
西南巴布亚省包括索龙市（Sorong Municipality）、索龙区（the District of Sorong）、南索龙区（the District of South Sorong）、拉贾安帕区（the District of Raja Ampat）、坦布劳区（the District of Tambrauw）和曼贝拉莫区（the District of Mamberamo）。
